******* Announcement *******

*    Everyone is welcome to the SENIOR FAREWELL CONCERT on Thursday, May 20th starting at 7PM in the PAC.  It will be a special night to remember for the graduating Seniors.  CONGRATULATIONS GRADS and BEST OF LUCK!  You have good reason to celebrate.

*    The celebration continues with the ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET on Monday, May 24th at 7PM in the Commons.  The theme is THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES featuring announcements of awards and honors to choir students and a special presentation of the seniors. 

 Scholarships will be presented at the Awards Banquet on Mon. May 24th.  We had eight outstanding senior students apply this year.  GREAT JOB!

*    Students will hand in their uniforms after the final concert May 20th.  Seniors may turn their's in the next day to give them time after the concert for pictures etc.

*    The State UIL Solo and Ensembles are May 29th in Austin.  The Charter Bus leaves Katy High at 5AM according to Mr. Dierdorf.  We will need a couple of volunteers to make the trip and help him out please. 

*    THANKS to ALLLLLLLLLL OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS over the year - from Chick Fil A breakfast biscuits sales, to website maintenance, to concert nights, Car Wash, Singing Valentines, My Fair Lady, Dessert Cabaret, Masterworks, uniforms, chaperones, to banquet.  ALL of you are FANTASTIC!

*    THANKYOU to the retiring APPLAUSE Board Members for your outstanding service to this organization.  WE ARE SO GRATEFUL to you for your dedication, eagerness to help, great support and enthusiasm!  YOU GUYS ROCK! 

*    Congratulations to the newly elected officers of APPLAUSE:  President - Ron Walker, Vice-President - John Davis, Secretary - Terry Richardson, Treasurer - Brenda Wilson, Assistant-Secretary - Nicole Rhodes, Assistant-Treasurer - Brenda Davis, Fundraising/events co-chairs: Brenda Atchley, Nancy Baker and Stacy Reeves.  

*    A Special President's note:  Thanks so much to many of you who have come forward over the past years to voluntarily help out our choir.  This year in particular we've had so many more get involved and it has been such a joy for me to part of it with you.  Keep it up!
